A delegation from Shri Shri Govindajee Dhup Arti Marup led by secretary Laipubam Ibochouba Sharma and six members, called on Governor Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan in Imphal West and apprised her of the development needs at the Anu Maha Prabhu complex in Nabadwip, West Bengal on Friday.
The delegation highlighted the significance of the pilgrim site, which attracts hundreds of pilgrims from Manipur annually, stated release issued by Governor’s secretariat Raj Bhavan, Imphal.
They emphasised the inconveniences faced by pilgrims during their visits and requested the governor’s assistance for the annual pilgrimage, it stated.
She assured the delegation of her commitment to providing all possible assistance to support the pilgrims from Manipur, it added.
