The Chairmen and Secretary Association Tamenglong (CSAT) and the Village Authority Chairman Council (VACC) on Tuesday announced their support to the indefinite economic blockade announced by the All Manipur Tribals’ Development Grievances Forum (AMTDGF) with effect from November 3 midnight on Imphal to Jiribam and Dimapur to Imphal road.

AMTDGF had announced the imposition of indefinite economic blockade from November 3 in protest against non release or payment of MGNRES wages and material components for the hills district of Manipur. 

In a joint statement, (CSAT) and (VACC) appealed to all to adhere to the economic blockade called by AMTDGF along the two national highways - Imphal to Jiribam and Dimapur to Imphal.
