Manipur reported 31 more COVID-19 positive cases, pushing the state's total positive tally to 2,317 on Tuesday.
The 31 new cases included 10 from Thoubal, eight each from Churachandpur and Tamenglong and five from Imphal West, according to a release from the COVID-19 Common Control Room.
"All except one from Imphal West and eight from Tamenglong do not have significant travel history but have local risk history," it said.
Meanwhile, 56 more COVID-19 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours after they were found COVID-19 free on RT PCR test.
While the numbers of active and recovered cases stand at 702 and 1,615 respectively, the recovery rate has gone up to 69.70 per cent, it added.
