Counting observers arrive in Manipur

Counting observers appointed by the Election Commission of India in connection with the counting of votes with respect to the conduct of Election to the House of People, 2024 from 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency have arrived.

Office of the District Election Officer, Imphal West district, Manipur on Sunday informed all concerned that the counting observers appointed by the Election Commission of India in connection with the counting of votes with respect to the conduct of Election to the House of People, 2024 from 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency have arrived in the state.

The five observers are Dhavalkumar K Patel, who has been allotted to 9-Thangmeiband, 10-Uripok, 11-Sagolband and Special Polling Station; Gangadhar Wahile, allotted to 12-Keishamthong, 13-Singjamei and 16-Sekmai; Sagun R Velip, allotted to 17-Lamsang, 18-Konthoujam and 19-Patsoi; MM Patel, allotted to 20-Langthabal and 21-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa and Gangadeep Singh, allotted to 22-Wangoi and 23-Mayang Imphal assembly segment, stated DEO Imphal West, Th Kirankumar in a press note.

It further said that the observers are staying in Classic Hotel, North AOC and Hotel Imolesh, opposite GP Women’s College, Imphal.
