A cordon and house to house search operation (CASO) was conducted at Kshetri Leikai Chingkhong on Wednesday.

As per police source, the search operation began from 5 am to 7:30 am in connection with the preventive security measures for the upcoming Republic Day celebration. 

During the operation, 82 houses were searched and about 200 men and 310 women were verified properly with their documents of identity. No person was picked up, it added.
