Concerted efforts needed to restore peace: Joykisan

Thangmeiband assembly constituency MLA Kh Joykisan on Sunday stressed on the need for concerted efforts from politicians irrespective of political parties, public and CSOs to restore peace and normalcy in Manipur.

He made the statement on Tuesday while visiting a senior sub-editor of a local daily Sangai Express S Surjeshwor who has been undergoing treatment for severe dengue infection at JNIMS medicine ward.

Joykisan said people across the state have been suffering due to the present crisis. In order to bring back normalcy and peace in Manipur, a collective joint effort is needed irrespective of political parties and communities, he said.

He has been providing necessary assistance to the journalist fraternity at the time of unwanted injuries or illness, he added.

MLA wished Surjeshwor for a quick recovery so that he could continue his work for the welfare of society. He assured that he will be continuing to provide necessary assistance to all the journalist fraternities at the time of their needs.
