Office of the District Election Officer/DC, Bishnupur has informed all the contesting candidates/their Election agents and recognised National/State Political parties functioning within Bishnupur District, that Assembly Segment Strong Rooms located at Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur will be opened on Friday for the commissioning of EVMs & WPATs.
DEO/DC, Bishnupur, Lourembam Bikram, in a notice on Monday said that the commissioning of EVMs & WPATS will commence after the completion of Randomization of EVMs & WPATs which will be conducted at Kombirei Hall, DC Office Complex, Lamphelpat at 9 am on the same day.
It also requested those concerned to depute 2 (Two) representatives duly authorized in writing to be present at the time of the Commissioning of EVMs & WPATs without fail. However, in case of the absence of any political party or their representatives or authorized persons, the commissioning of EVMs and VVPATs will proceed as scheduled on time in their absence, it maintained.
The notice was issued in pursuance of RO, 1-Inner Manipur PC Notice No. 119/R0/1- 1MPC/EVMs/LSE-2024 dated March 31 and Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur letter No. EVMs-103/1/2021-ELEC-ED dated March 29, it mentioned.
