CMHA scheme launched in Churachandpur

The first door-to-door health screening was held at the centenary hall of Mission Compound village in Churachandpur.

The Chief Minister’s Health for all (CMHA) scheme was launched at Mission Compound Village in Churachandpur by additional DC Khaikhopau on Tuesday.  

The first door-to-door health screening was held at the centenary hall of Mission Compound village in Churachandpur.

Chief medical officer of Churachandpur district Vumchinpau Tonsing attended the event as chief host, state nodal officer Dr Y Premchandra Singh as guest of honour in the presence of village chief of the area, Asha workers and ANM nurses of the health and wellness centre of the Mission compound village.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Premchandra said that the schemes were to be totally funded by the state government for which ASHA workers will get additional incentives. He said that the scheme is different from CMHT as it was about finding out the sick persons by conducting tests at their doorsteps, particularly for Non Communicable Diseases (NCD).

The chief guest and chief host urged the people to be cooperative with this initiative and get maximum profit out of it. The chief medical officer appealed to Dr Premchandra to felicitate and expedite the honorarium of ASHA workers in time.
