CM Biren launches Start Up Manipur 2.0

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has launched Start-Up Manipur 2.0 with a corpus fund of Rs 100 crore. The Start-Up Manipur 2.0 was launched as a part of the State Level Celebration on Emerging Manipur 2023 at City Convention Centre, Imphal East on Saturday.

The chief minister took to social media and expressed delight in launching the Start-Up Manipur 2.0, saying that the scheme has provided benefits to thousands of entrepreneurs, facilitating growth and development in the state.

"Delighted to launch the Start Up Manipur 2.0 with a corpus fund of Rs 100 Crore. Manipur Start Up Scheme has unlocked the potential of our youths providing benefits to thousands of youths in the state since its launch by GoM under the guidance of Hon'ble PM Shri@narendramodi ji," the chief minister said in a Twitter post.

It was on March 15, 2018 that the chief minister first launched “STARTUP Manipur” along with “Lairik Tamhanlasi”. He had then said that “STARTUP Manipur” would enable the youths/unemployed persons in the state to take up new ventures with new and creative ideas.
