Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Wednesday inaugurated the 6th Women’s International Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung.

The chief minister said the tournament is being organised as a part of the initiatives to save Manipuri Pony as well to promote the game of Polo which was gifted to the world by Manipur.

"Pleased to inaugurate the 6th Women’s International Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung. With two international teams participating, the tournament is being organised as a part of the initiatives to save Manipuri Pony as well as promote the game of Polo," CM Biren tweeted.
