A cleanliness drive was conducted at the shrine of ‘Ebudhou Asuppa Thangjing Koirel Lai’ located at Kakching Maning Ching on Thursday.
The drive was jointly organised by the members of JNGVO Kakching, KKCL and Lai Committee of Ebudhou Asuppa Thangjing Koirel Lai under the initiative of IYA Kakching.
The people of Kakching have been worshiping ‘Ebudhou Asuppa Thangjing Koirel Lai’ since 1992.
Attending the drive, vice President of the Lai Thougal Committee M Brojen requested the people of Kakching to protect and preserve Kakching Maning Ching where the sacred shrine of ‘Ebudhou Asuppa Thangjing Koirel Lai’ is located.
“The people of Manipur and Kakching consider the place as one of the most important shrines among the holy places of Manipur, it is our duty to keep the place neat and clean,” he added.
Further, Brojen also announced that a large temple will be constructed soon for convenience while worshippers are requested to extend help whatever they can, he added.
