BJP Imphal West district and Jiribam Mandal on Monday distributed the prizes for the cleanliness competition which was organised as part of 42nd Foundation day of BJP at Jiribam district municipality areas.

The prize distribution for the cleanliness competition organised at areas under Jiribam district municipality, from Ward No I to X, was held at the PWD guest house at Babupara, Jiribam district.

The event was attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi; BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary L Deben Singh; BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary K Saratkumar Singh; Jiribam Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad Kh Janaki Devi; BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson Brijit; Jiribam Social Worker N Budhachandra Singh; Jiribam Municipal Council chairperson Shanti Devi as the presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, A Sharda said that such developmental programmes had been organised in fulfilment of the promises of the BJP government. Highlighting the various developmental plans of the party, she stated that the BJP party was formed for the service of the public.

In the prize distribution of the cleanliness competition, Dibong Khunou Ward No VI was awarded with the 1st position, Dibong Ward No X with 2nd position and Lakhipur Chandrapur Ward No VIII with 3rd position.
