With the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions, Christmas 2021 was widely celebrated throughout Tamenglong district in Manipur at their respective churches on Sunday.
At Zeliangrong Baptist Church Tamenglong, Christmas celebration associate pastor reverencd Chingkhiuluanang Gonmei spoke as speaker on the topic ‘the manifestation of God’s love’.
Two appreciation certificates were also given out to two retired deacons including Gaijuan Riamei and Jiangluwang Pamei for their selfless contribution to the church.
The appreciation certificates were given out through Zeliangrong Baptist Church emeritus pastor Reverend Lamdin Pamei in the presence of hundreds of church members.
Many churches in Tamenglong district wound up the celebrations by Sunday evening while some churches would be celebrating Christmas till Monday.
