Curfew relaxation in Imphal East and Imphal West districts has been extended till 5 pm of Friday, June 16, official sources said on Friday.
The indefinite curfew in both the valley districts was relaxed for eight hours, from 5 am to 1 pm, on Friday, according to the district magistrate orders issued on Thursday.

The two districts of violence-hit Manipur, along with other districts, have been under indefinite curfew since 7 pm, May 3, when violence broke out between two communities - Meitei and Kuki - in several parts of yje stated.
