Chandel District Development and Welfare Forum, a forum to look into the various development and welfare of the district, as the name suggests, was formed on June 30, 2022.
A press release by the Information and Publicity Cell informed that the forum has been formed in the best interest and for the development of the general populace.
Ts. Warngam Anal, who was a candidate in the 11th Manipur State Assembly Election, 2017, was elected as the Convener; Shokhomang Haokip as Co-Convener; Ts Molarshing Monsang as Secretary; D. Bonny Lamkang and Khupkholun Haokip as Joint Secretaries.
As part of the executives, fifteen members along with area/tribe wise Development Sub-Committee Members were appointed as part of the Information and Publicity Cell.
