The three new criminal laws included in the constitution are Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.

The campaign aims to create awareness among the masses about the new laws particularly in higher educational institutions of Manipur.

The new laws will replace the existing so-called colonial laws which include the Indian Penal Code, 1860; Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
