Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak Phom (Indigenous Religious Council) Assam, Manipur and Nagaland on Sunday called for end to violence, peace and normalcy in the state. It also urged the public to avoid inciting hatred.
The council also held a prayer service for peace and welfare of the people in light of the unprecedented violence that erupted in the state, stated a release. The organisation emphasized the importance of respect for religious diversity and urged the public to let go of grudges and enmity and strive together for lasting peace and prosperity in the state.
