Border Area Integrated Sustainable Farming launched in Churachandpur

Singngat MLA Chinlunthang Zou highlighted the benefits of the Border Area Integrated Sustainable Farming that was launched in Churachandpur on Friday.

The ‘Border Area Integrated Sustainable Farming’ was launched on Friday at the YPA Hall of Singngat Village, Churachandpur District under Tribal Development Fund (TDF) of NABARD with the Center for Community Initiative (CCI) as the Project Implementing Agency.

It was attended by Chinlunthang Zou, MLA Singngat AC as the Chief Guest and Niangkhanvung Guite, general manager, NABARD RO, Manipur as the guest of honour.

CCI manager L Thangsuanlian, delivered the welcome speech followed by the Director of CCI, Pauzagin Tonsing, highlighting the TDF project. This was followed by the launching of the project by the the MLA.

The officials from NABARD, including the DDM of Churachandpur, Samuel, spoke in detail about the project, while Chinlunthang Zou highlighted the privileges of the area and the people for being part of the beneficiaries.  He also mentioned about training, technical and marketing help that will be received by the beneficiaries.
