Miscreants exploded an IED at the gate of state agriculture director's house at Tera Sapam Leirak Nongmaithem Leikai under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West at around 9.18 pm on Friday.  No casualty was reported.

On receiving the information, a quick reaction team of police and Lamphel police arrived at the blast site to take stock of the situation. The blast damaged the gate partially, police said.
