State BJP spokesperson N Nongpoknganba on Monday said that BJP receiving support from voters in the recently conducted election at four different states has proven that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘pro-poor and India first’ policy along with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saat, Sabka Vikash’ weighs higher over “the opposition’s politics of negativity.”

He was speaking to the media at its state head office located at Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal on Monday.

During the meeting, BJP state president A Sharda Devi highlighted the various achievements made by the BJP-led government in the last and present tenure. Nongpoknganba said that the National office bearer meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was recently conducted at Jaipur.

With the various activities carried out by the BJP government, the party was able to garner support from the public for the next five years by winning an absolute majority, Nongpoknganba said.

The main reason for the formation of BJP government 2.0 in Manipur is due to the mantra of the party ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash’, he added.

In the recent election conducted in four different states of the country BJP’s vote share has also increased from 39 per cent to 42 per cent. Even in those areas where the farmer agitation was at peak, BJP has made records, he said.

This clearly shows that the farmers of the country including Manipur trust the Narendra Modi led BJP government, said Nongpoknganba. The recent victory in the election for BJP was an emphatic victory, he claimed.
