The INC candidate for Inner Manipur, Bimol Akoijam, on Wednesday paid homage to the revered Paona Brajabasi at the Khongjom war memorial and visited his final resting ground at Lilong Arapti Awang leikai.
During his visit, Bimol pledged to develop the historic site at Lilong Arapti Awang Leikai and ensure its protection, regardless of the election outcome. With a commitment to serve the people of Manipur, he promised unwavering dedication towards their upliftment.
Amid the warm reception by the womenfolk at Lilong Arapti Awang Leikai, Bimol was lauded for his long standing engagement and contributions to Manipur’s betterment since 2000, notably addressing issues such as AFSPA and June 18.
