National Health Mission-AYUSH Division and All Manipur AYUSH Doctors Association (AMADA) jointly organised a one-day AYUSH Free Health Camp at the relief camp opened at Kalyan Ashram Kakching on Monday.
Speaking at the event National Health Mission-AYUSH State Nodal Officer Dr Benedict Maring said that the health camp is being organised as a continuation of the series of health camps conducted in the relief camps opened across the state. He said that free treatment and medications are provided to the inmates of the relief camp during the free health camp.
It also provided free piles clinics for the day for those facing piles and Fistula problems and conducted free tests to carry out operations with the help of AYUSH. It also provided a free ultrasound facility for the inmates, said Dr. Benedict. He added that a Yoga demonstration on stress management for the inmates was also carried out.
District Health Society Kakching also conducted a free anaemia test for the inmates in Kalyan Ashram Kakching relief camp as a part of the Anaemia Mukt Bharat Campaign.
