The Fire Service Week 2023 observation cum Awareness in Fire Safety for Growth of National Infrastructure (AGNI) was organised at Churachandpur Fire sub station by the fire department of Churachandpur and Manipur Fire Service in Churachandpur district on Sunday.
The programme saw the attendance of by joint director of Manipur fire service L Nabachandra Singh, SOs, namey Kh Surchandra Singh, Rishikanta Ch, W Rona Singh, W Rajesh Songh, Churachandpur Fire sub station OC Kh Pauliansang, etc.
The observation sought to raise awareness on the need for greater awareness on fire safety in the age of businesses establishment and infrastructure development.
The fire service week is being observed from April 14th to 20 across the country.
The observation in Churachandpur district witnessed an awareness rally from Tuibong traffic point to New Bazar via Sialmat Bridge in the district. Steps to prevent fire from breaking out were announced using a microphone by the team of fire servicemen during the rally.
