Caring Home, Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts, Pallel, in association with State Level Coordinating Agency, Manipur organised an awareness programme on the theme “Drug Abuse Prevention” on Sunday at T Tuisomjang Village in Tengnoupal district.
It was supported by National Institute for Social Defense, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India.
Community leaders of the area attended the programme organised with the aim for a drug free society.
Dr Mahesh Aheibam, Medical Officer spoke on ‘Substance Use Disorder’; Romen Sharma, Project Coordinator, Pari Yaipha Loishang, IRCA spoke on ‘Role of Community Leader’, and Baleshwor Sanasam, Project Coordinator,Caring Home, IRCA spoke on ‘How to Prevent Drug Abuse’, as resource persons during the programme.
