AR Khuga Battalion celebrates Children’s Day

All the children were motivated to pursue their education even in times of adversities and adopt a culture of excelling in sports which shall bring a peaceful and dependable environment.

On the occasion of Children’s Day which is celebrated on the  birth anniversary of  the first Prime Minister of our country (L) Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the Khuga Battalion of Assam Riffles conducted an interaction with around 2,000 school children of Don Bosco Secondary School, Churachandpur on Tuesday.

All the children were motivated to pursue their education even in times of adversities and adopt a culture of excelling in sports which shall bring a peaceful and dependable environment.

The occasion also witnessed distribution of sweets  and other eatables to all the participating school children, whose act of the AR was appreciated by the school children and school authorities that will motivate the students to progress towards the peaceful, competitive yet compassionate and prosperous society.

The action was organised by the Khuga battalion of Assam Rifles under IGAR(South) as part of their committed efforts toward bringing positive impact on the society wherein inspiring and motivating children to play an important role.
