Assam Rifles on Tuesday lodged a complaint report to the OC Kasom Khullen PS, Kamjong District, stating that a column of 24 AR intercepted and apprehended an injured UNLF (K) cadre while he was infiltrating towards India from Myanmar near Namlee Market, under Kasom Khullen PS, Kamjong District on the same day at 11.30 pm.

After questioning, the individual was identified as one L Rishikanta Singh, 18, son of L Kanhai Singh of Naranseina, Bishnupur, Manipur, the AR stated.
The apprehended individual was handed over to Kasom Khullen PS. No incriminating articles were seized from him.

Based on the report, a regular case under FIR No. 4(2)2024 KKL PS U/S. 20 UA(P) act was registered for investigation, said reports.
