Applications invited for training in trades

The Manipur government has invited applications from interested candidates between the age group of 18-35 years for undergoing training in various trades.

Office of the cluster type training Centre (CTTC), in a notice on Wednesday informed that the training offered includes a six month short term course in embroidery and one year elementary course in Tailoring & Cutting/Weaving/Carpentry/Black Smithy/Foundry/Carpet Weaving for the Academic session 2024.

Selected candidates will be awarded monthly stipend admissible as per rules for short term and elementary course respectively subject to their attendance, it stated. It further mentioned the requisite qualifications of the candidates stating that they must pass class 8 standard at the minimum.

Last date of submission of application form is on January 12, 2024, while interview for selection of trainees will be held at CTTC office, Porompat at 11 am on January 15, 2024, it said. Candidates can avail further from the office during office hours, it added
