BJP Thoubal Mandal vice president Samiuddin Phundreimayum on Sunday stated that the people of Sangaiyumpham, Thoubal district urge the state government to nominate BJP, senior member Adim Pamei as intending candidate of the party for the upcoming Lok Sabha election for outer assembly constituency of Manipur.
Speaking at its office at Sangaiyumpham, Thoubal district Samiuddin said that BJP will win the seat of outer assembly constituency if Adim Pamei is nominated as candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Considering the contributions made by the senior member, it will be a good opportunity for the party while supporting Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister for the third term, he added.
Besides, president of Sangaiyumpham polling number 35/29, Ali Rahman said Adim Pamei has been serving for the BJP party for decades and should be given the party ticket by acknowledging his long-term service for the welfare and development of the party.
If he is nominated as BJP candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, then a peaceful and harmonious society in Manipur will be maintained, he stressed.
Adim Pamei is the first BJP intending candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha election for both inner and outer assembly constituency.
Chief minister N Biren Singh had earlier told the media that BJP will win from both inner and outer assembly constituencies in the coming Lok Sabha election and Narendra Modi will be continuing as Prime Minister for his third term.
As per sources, Lok Sabha Election is expected to be held by May.
