The All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) on Saturday announced that an awareness cum account opening camp on National Savings Schemes (NSS), Postal Life Insurance (PLI), and Rural PLI will be held at Manipur Press Club on Monday.

AMWJU and Manipur Press Club in association with the Directorate of Small Savings under the Department of Finance, the Department of Post, Manipur Division, and the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) will organise the camp as part of the year-long Golden Jubilee celebration of AMWJU, stated a release.

Interested members can get benefits of the camp, it said and notified them to bring their Aadhaar, PAN, service IDs, and photos (two copies of passport) in respect of Small Savings Schemes, PLI, and RPLI. It also said that for Sukanya Samridhi Yojana (SSY), Aadhaar, PAN, passport photos of either of the parents and birth certificate of the girl child below ten years of age are required.
