Speaking to the media during a press meet on Sunday at the Manipur Press Club, Imphal, association secretary Ayeakpam Ashalata Devi said that the organization has been extending all possible help to the riot victims by providing essential items at relief camps.

The AMWDA expressed dissatisfaction with the silence of the Members of Parliament from the state of Manipur in connection with the present turmoil in the state.

Ashalata appealed to the government to arrange measures for those small-time businessmen and women who have taken loans from banks, as they are not in a position to repay the loan.
