The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi, General Headquarter (ALT-GHQs) on Saturday felicitated Thumsol Tongsin Anal, son of (L) Ts Kohmanshing of Chandel Christian at the ALT GHQs office in Panchai, Chandel.
Currently playing for the Mohan Bagan Reserve team, Thumsol represented India in the 2023 SAFF U-19 Championship which took place from September 21–30, 2023 in Kathmandu, Nepal; India came out victorious, winning the title for the fifth time, after beating Pakistan in the final.
He is the first from the Anal Community to represent India in the field of Football.
The felicitation programme, attended by student leaders and CSOs encourage Thumshol to continue greater heights in his field and bring glory to his people and God.
Bd Ningwar Anal, president of ALT GHQ said it was a great honour not only for Thumsol but the Anal community as a whole. He encouraged Thumsol to strive harder and wished him the best for his future endeavours too.
