In connection with the celebration, AIFMP president Raghavendra N Dutta Baruah said that the state can make gains in terms of economy when the state government puts focus on the printing press.

Due to the ongoing crisis in Manipur, the printing press in the state has been facing untold hardships. Therefore, the current crisis should be resolved as soon as possible by joining hands, he said.

AMPA president Senjam Surjit said that printing of books will continue for supporting writers and the general public. The celebration was attended by BOSEM secretary S Mangijao Singh; AMWJU president Bijoy Kakchingtabam; AMPA advisor L Bhumeshwor Singh.
