Indian Army has commenced the process for Phase-2 of Agniveer Recruitment since June 2023, in several parts of the country and Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar will conduct recruitment rallies, for shortlisted, candidates of Manipur from November 28 to December 8 at various locations in the state, stated a release issued PIB (Defence Wing).
The recruitment rallies will be held from November 28 to 30 November at Brigadier Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi, and from December 3 to 4 at Koirengei Old Airfield, Imphal East, it stated. It will be held from December 7 to 8 at Peace Ground, Churachandpur, it added.
Shortlisted candidates will be tested on 1.6 km run and some basic physical fitness tests in addition to physical measurements during the screening at the rally site, it further stated.
As part of the new recruitment system, Phase-I involved an online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) which was held from April 17 to 26 at various centres, it mentioned.
The result of candidates who have passed the online Common Entrance Exam has been uploaded on ‘Join Indian Army’ website in May, 2023, it sstated.
The Indian Army has intimated shortlisted and not shortlisted candidates through mail on their registered email IDs already. The shortlisted candidates can download their Admit
Cards for phase - II using their login credentials, it further stated.
The phase marks a significant milestone in the Indian Army’s effort to transform its recruitment procedure and ensure a seamless and efficient selection process for aspiring candidates, it stated.
Indian Army has advised the shortlisted candidates who have yet not received their admit cards to approach Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar using email ID - firstname.lastname@example.org and mobile number - 8974958673 to obtain the same, it added.
