The Good Samaritan Foundation, Churachandpur on Friday gifted blankets to homeless people of Churachandpur. The homeless people who received the blankets are mostly drug addicts who have been allegedly disowned by their families. Vice president of Foundation Thangzalun Haokip said that through their ' ‘Phula-len fest, 2021” they have been organising an advanced Christmas programme every year, during which they hand out warm clothes to children. But this year they are giving out blankets to those homeless people whom they identified from Churachandpur town, numbers as much as 40, he said. The GSF was established in 1995 to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ to the unfortunate people.
