ADC level summit held at Manipur-Mizoram border

The summit was organised with the objective of resolving the land acquisition issue for constructing abutment A2 and pier P2 on the Mizoram side at the Tuivai River.

Additional DC of Saitual district, Mizoram Margaret Marini and Churachandpur district additional DC S Khaikhopau Ngaihte held an ADC Level Summit at the Manipur- Mizoram border in Tuivai regarding the land acquisition issue for abutment and pier construction at the Tuivai River.

The summit was organised with the objective of resolving the land acquisition issue for constructing abutment A2 and pier P2 on the Mizoram side at the Tuivai River. In the summit, both additional DCs appealed to the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Champhai for the necessary rectification in the Parivesh Portal of the ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change subsequent to the withdrawal of petition by the Forest Department, government of Mizoram.

The meeting was also attended by delegates of NHIDCL of Manipur and Mizoram along with the construction agency Bhartia Infra Projects Limited. The summit appealed for the cooperation of the stakeholders for the timely completion of the project.
