Imphal West district police arrested an active member of KCP (Noyon Group) from the western gate of RAU Football Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak on Saturday at around 1.30 pm.

The arrested person is identified as Huidrom Pilot Singh alias Langamba, 41, son of late H yaima Singh of Heingang Panthoibi Lampak, Imphal East district.
He was involved in extortion of huge amounts from several businessmen, general public in and around the Imphal area.

Three mobile handsets and one brown wallet containing one Aadhar card, a sum of Rs 1,313 were recovered from his possession.
The arrested person has been handed over to Imphal Police station for further necessary action.
