The ‘100-day action points for first 100 days’ initiated by the new BJ- led government in the state was launched at Pherzawl district in a programme conducted at Pherzawl Community hall on Tuesday.
The programme led by deputy commissioner Joseph Pauline Kamson, and officer for Pherzawl district Prabhati, was held under the aegis of the Pherzawl district administration with active involvement of village chief and CSOs.
The DC said that the Subdivision Development Monitoring Mission under the 100 action point for the first 100-day programme was a new concept for all round development at the grassroots level. He also assured that a door-to-door survey will be conducted so that eligible beneficiaries of various government schemes may benefit the district.
Urging the people not to lose hope at the government due to lack of infrastructure at the new Pherzawl district, the DC said that the foundation stone laying for construction of ITI Pherzawl, provision for settings up of urban amenities in the district headquarter and activation of transit accommodations are in the pipeline.
He emphasised that themes such as ‘one sub division one product’, ‘one family - one livelihood’ will be highlighted by the Prabhari officers.
A meeting of District Meeyamgi Numit was also held on the occasion.
Meanwhile, releases issued by DIO Pherzawl stated that Block health Mela was organised at the district at Thanlon community hall on April 18 and further at Parbung and Ankhasuo community hall on Wednesday.
