Nongmaithem Pahari Memorial Trust is set to organise the 7th Pahari Ningsing Seidanaba-2022 on October 16 and 17 at Lamyanba Shanglen, Konung Lampak in Imphal East.
According to a release issued by Nongmaithem Pahari Memorial Trust on Monday, it stated that the singing competition was halted for some years due to COVID-19 pandemic. But with the improvement of the pandemic, the trust is going to organise the competition from this year, it stated.
It continued that persons who are born between October 18, 1992 to October 18, 2012 are eligible for the competition. They can submit the form either in online or offline mode.
Interested persons can download the form from the given website www.melodykingnongmaithempahari.com/blog/npmt, it stated. For offline mode, the form submission centres are Lamyanba Shanglen, Konung Lampak; Sindam Book House, Singjamei; Siroi Stationary, Kwakeithel Bazaar; Komol Grocery Shop near Keishampat Power House; Fijam Stationary, Chingmeirong Khongnang Ani Karak; Jitumani Hotel, Lamlong Bazaar and Eikhoigi Pan Dukan, Moirangkhom.
The release said that the first prize of competition is a cash award of Rs 20,000 for the winner, Rs 15,000 for the first runner-up and Rs 10,000 for the second runner-up. There is also a consolation prize from fourth to 10th position, the release stated.
