The memorial bust was arranged by the Unit in honour of Saheed Constable/GD N Braja Kishor Singh of 112 Bn CRPF, who was martyred while fighting with insurgents in Manipur on May 15, 2000, stated a release.

It was unveiled at the martyr’s home town at Waiton Maning Leikai in Imphal East district under Heingang Police station in the presence of village authority and his family members during a programme, the release said.

Speaking on the sidelines, Commandant 69 Bn CRPF, Bajrang Lal, apprised the gathering of the event, stating that it was organised in commemoration of Braja Kishor for his supreme sacrifice for the nation as well as to console/encourage his family members, it mentioned. 69 Bn CRPF officers/jawans, prominent persons/village authority and family members were present at the event, it added.
