30-day film appreciation course from June

Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI) director, in a release on Thursday, said that the course will be organised in collaboration with International Federation of Film Critics-India (FIPRESCI-India) at MSFTI Classroom Theatre, Palace Gate, Imphal.

The Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI), under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur, is all set to organise a 30-Day Film Appreciation Course from June 1-30.

MFSTI Director, in a release on Thursday, said that the course will be organised in collaboration with International Federation of Film Critics-India (FIPRESCI-India) at MSFTI Classroom Theatre, Palace Gate, Imphal.

It asserted that the move was taken acknowledging Film Appreciation which is considered as the most important aspect in the promotion of film education and production.

MFSTI has been initiating to organise/conduct various short-term training/workshops/labs etc. to impart the basic as well as profound knowledge and concept on various aspects of filmmaking to the youths, it mentioned.

It informed interested persons to contact the office of the MSFTI between May 20 to 30 during office hours for registration of participants/observers and for further details.
