In keeping with the Govt of India Policy guideline to promote and encourage a sustainable and environmentally conscious way of living, 143 Bn, CRPF, Lamphelpat launched a month-long Swachatha drive under the mission of Meri Life programme on Sunday.
In a press release, office of the Commandant, 143Bn CRPF Lamphelpat informed that during the function organized near DC Office, Lamphelpat, Y Nandakishore Singh, 2nd in Command of 143 Bn launched a month-long programme under Meri Life.
Meri LIFE logo was also displayed during the event.
143 Bn will carry out various activities including cleaning of nearby areas, water bodies, the release stated.
Awareness activities including classes, walkathon, motivational classes, drug abuse, yoga, water saving, energy consumption, tree plantation will be conducted from May 5 to June 06, the CRPF stated.
