Fourteen individuals from the Rongmei Community have been appointed as Assistant Professors in the top colleges of Delhi University and DM university, Manipur.
Following the appointment, the Rongmei Scholars’ Association (RSA) on Wednesday congratulated the successful scholars on their remarkable achievement and also extended best wishes to them.
Four scholars out of the 14 were appointed in DM University, the RSA stated in a release.
They are Veronica Khangchian in the Sociology department, Phillip Maringmei in Anthropology department, Robita Riamei in Home Science Department and Guangpuanang Kahmei in DM University, Commerce, as per the RSA.
The other 10 Rongmei scholars were appointed in various top 10 colleges of Delhi University including Hindu, LSR and Hansraj etc., it added.
