Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) on Friday informed that a total of 124 MPSC candidates have been recommended for appointment to the post of Manipur Health Service Grade-IV (Medical Officer) in the Health department, Government of Manipur.
A notification issued by MPSC Controller of Examination Kh Lalmani Singh, said that the said candidates have been shortlisted in order of merit on the basis of the result of the written examination of Manipur Health Service Grade-IV (Medical Officer) Examination, 2021 held on Friday and interview held from May 3 to 10.
It said that if two or more candidates secure the same total marks then the candidate possessing Covid Duty Certificates which were verified by the Verification Committee constituted as per direction of the Hon’ble High Court, is placed higher in merit as conveyed by Administrative Department in its letter No. 2/7/2019-M dated October 27, 2021.
If candidates possessing Covid Duty Certificates secure the same total marks, then the candidates with more marks in the written examination are placed higher in merit, it said. It added that if the marks in the written examination are also the same, candidates older in age are placed higher in merit.
It asserted that appointment of the recommended list of candidates to the post of Manipur Health Service Grade- IV (Medical Officer) will be subject to production of all requisite documents in original to the Administrative Department.
The results of three candidates bearing roll numbers 10665, 10712 and 11299 are kept withheld and shall not be declared without the leave of the High Court in compliance of the order passed in WP (C) No. 284 of 2024 with MC (WP(C) No. 254 of 2024 dated April 26, 2024 by the High Court of Manipur, it mentioned. It added that the final merit list of recommended candidates is subject to the final outcome of WP (C) No. 284 of 2024 currently in the High Court.
