10-year-old boy to cycle from Manipur's Moirang to Delhi

The cycle rally is purportedly to pay homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and all martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the struggle of Indian independence.

A 10-year-old boy, Arav Bhardwaj, from Delhi said that he will undertake a cycle rally from INA, Moirang, Bishnupur district till National War Memorial, India Gate, New Delhi covering a total of 2,600 km passing through eight states. The rally will be flagged-off on Thursday.

The cycle rally is purportedly to pay homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and all martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the struggle of Indian independence.

The boy will be accompanied by his father on a cycle to motivate him and also by his other family members on a motor vehicle.

While the 10-year-old boy had never taken part in any cycling competitions, the parents claimed he has been practicing for this challenge covering 70 to 75 km every day.
