Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that a statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be installed at the India Gate, Delhi.

The grand statue made with granite will be a symbol of India’s indebtedness to Subhas Chandra Bose, PM Modi said in a tweet.

"At a time when the entire nation is marking the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am glad to share that his grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate. This would be a symbol of India’s indebtedness to him," the Prime Minister tweeted.

PM Modi also informed in another tweet that a hologram statue of Netaji will be present at the India Gate till the grand statue is completed. The hologram statue will be unveiled on January 23, Netaji’s birth anniversary, PM Modi said.

"Till the grand statue of Netaji Bose is completed, a hologram statue of his would be present at the same place. I will unveil the hologram statue on 23rd January, Netaji’s birth anniversary," PM Modi said in another tweet.
