Delhiites woke up to a cool morning as rain lashed several parts of the Delhi-NCR region on Sunday night. Delhi is expected to receive light rain/thundershowers in the next 24 hours. 

On Sunday, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority had predicted that light rain/thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds (speed 30-40 Kmph) is very likely to occur at many places over Delhi in next 24 hours.  

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had also forecast rain with dust storm/thunderstorm in Delhi-NCR region.

"Dust storm/Thunderstorm with rain and gusty winds speed of 40-60 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi, NCR ( Bahadurgarh, Gurugram) Hansi, Meham, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Nuh (Haryana) during next 2 hours," the IMD had tweeted.
