Two more test COVID-19 positive in Manipur, active tally rises to 12

A 25-year-old male from Imphal West and a 76-year-old female from Imphal East, were found positive for COVID-19.

Manipur on Monday reported two more COVID-19 cases and the state's active tally increased to 12, official sources said.

According to a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room, a total of 37 samples were tested for COVID-19 on Monday, of which a 25-year-old male from Imphal West and a 76-year-old female from Imphal East, were found positive for COVID-19.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 doses administered in Manipur remained 32,69,105 with no new doses of COVID-19 being administered on April 9, according to the state immunization officer.

Meanwhile, the state department advised the general public to wear face mask, wash hands, avoid crowds and get vaccinated to prevent from COVID-19 infection.
