Three new COVID-19 cases in Manipur

Manipur's COVID-19 active case tally rose to 11 on Saturday.

Three more people out of total 15 tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Saturday, taking the total number of active cases to 11, according to official sources.

The state Health Services stated in a release that one person from Kangpokpi district and two others from Imphal East were found infected with COVID-19 virus, while no person was discharged on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the release mentioned that the Central government has stopped supplying COVID vaccines to states. The process for procurement of vaccine for the state is in progress, it added.

The cumulative number of COVID vaccination doses administered till now is 3269105, it stated.

As per the state health advisory, people in the state have been urged to maintain Covid appropriate behavior of wearing masks, maintaining health hygiene and avoiding crowd to prevent the spread of the infection.
