No new COVID-19 case was reported in Manipur on Friday and the state's active tally remains eight, official sources said.

The latest update by the state Health Services on Friday showed 25 samples test were conducted but all tested COVID-19 negative.

On April 6, no new doses of COVID-19 were administered. So far, the total Covid-19 doses administered reached 3269105, according to the state immunization officer. Till date, a total of 1,37,775 people reported recovered from the disease in the state. And the recovery rate is 98.46 per cent.

Meanwhile, the state department reminded the general public to wear face mask, wash hands, avoid crowds and vaccinate to prevent from COVID-19 infection.
