Manipur logs seven new COVID-19 positive cases

The total number of active COVID-19 cases in Manipur stood at nine as on Wednesday.

Manipur on Tuesday recorded seven new COVID-19 positive cases, while no new recovery was recorded in the state, official sources said.

According to a release issued by the state Health Services, 285 samples were tested for COVID-19 out of which seven were found COVID-19 positive.

The total number of active cases stood at nine with no new recovered case recorded on Tuesday.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccination doses administered till date is 32,69,105.

Meanwhile, the release mentioned that the Central government has stopped supplying COVID vaccines to states. The process for procurement of vaccine for the state is in progress, it added.

As per the state health advisory, people in the state have been urged to maintain Covid appropriate behavior of wearing masks, maintaining health hygiene and avoiding crowd to prevent the spread of the infection.
